Counting My Blessings......

I know I haven't posted since Griffin was blessed and I have a lot of catching up..... But today I am feeling very blessed. Yesterday could have changed my life and the life of my family in less than 5 minutes.

I decided that I was going to make the best of the summer and why not start by SWIMMING.... Janey does great in the water AJ does OK as long as he has his FLOATIES on and he hates going under the water and Griff doesn't like to sit in his float tube he wants me to hold him and as for me well I am not much of a fan but I will do what it takes to make my kids happy. So today I decided that I would get in the pool with Griff and see If I could get him use to the tube. Janey was playing with friends and AJ was just being AJ running and having a ball with his FLOATIES on something that he has never had a problem with. He knows that he has to wear them and has never fought us on it. Somewhere in a span of about 3 minutes he decided to somehow take his floaties off (I will never know how he got them off I have a hard time pulling them off) and jump into the pool. Unfortunately I did not see him jump into the pool and neither did anyone else. One of the little girls that was swimming ran over to her mom to show her that she had cut her foot and luckily looked in the water and said mom someone is drowning. Amber and I both turned and looked and sure enough AJ yes my sweet energetic AJ was laying in the bottom of the pool. I ran over and grabbed him not thinking that I would pick a limp body up. I looked at his blue lips and his pale face and knew that If I panicked his chance were pretty slim so I took a deep breath laid him on the ground and did mouth to mouth something that I never thought I would have to do on my own child. It seemed like forever but it was a matter of 3 or 4 breaths that I had to give him to get him to spit up the water. We had called 911 and was still on the phone with them when he came around and started to cry they asked if we still needed them and I told them no hoping I was making the right decision. I sat there holding AJ and cried. When I pulled myself together for the moment I realized that I needed to take him into the DR. to make sure that his lungs were ok. Thank goodness Everything checked out perfect. It was after I left the Dr. office that it hit me hard. I knew that I was so blessed to be driving home with a little boy that was perfect mentally and physically. I knew that someone was watching over me that day and helped me. And I was so thankful for a very brave 6 year old that saved my sweet energetic AJ....

Last night was a very long night. So many what ifs and why was i not paying more attention. This morning I am very emotional. I have 3 beautiful and healthy children that have a very hard working dad. At this moment nothing else matters.

Janey is amazing. She can do anything she puts her mind to. She is such a good big sister to AJ and Griffin. She is involved with so much right now (Piano, tennis, soccer, and Gymnastics).

6 LBS 19 INCHES

It seemed like such a long journey to get this little boy here. It all began at 14 weeks and did not stop until 34 weeks 4 days. So worth the worry and bed rest. He is so sweet and lovable. He had a little hard start to life spending the first 2 weeks in the NICU. We are so grateful that he is home now and doing great. He has a big sister that cant get enough of him and a big brother that does not understand that he has to have help while holding him. WE LOVE YOU GRIFF!!!!!!

Well I got to 26 weeks before they decided to put me in bed. My goal was to make it to the end of the school year and I did. Janey is staying very busy thanks to great friends. And AJ is just growing up, he has been such a good little boy. My mom has been here a lot so she keeps him in line and when his dad gets home he makes sure that he is playing and keeping him busy. Jer is amazing I don't know how he is doing what he is. I feel like he has not had 5 minutes to even sit down.

Things stayed pretty calm for the first week I was in bed then it seems like we have been on a roller coaster. I went to the hospital on Sunday because I was having a lot of cramping and contractions. They monitored me and ran some test and figured I had an infection so now I am on an antibiotic.

My doctor is wanting me to have a NST twice a week which I was expecting what I was not expecting was my first scheduled NST lasted 4 hours. They hooked me up for a hour in the office and decided they were seeing things they did not like so then they sent me to labor and delivery for another 3 hours. So to say the least I am not looking forward to my next one which is scheduled tomorrow.

We are taking a day at a time knowing everyday that I am pregnant is a good thing. We are shooting for 34 weeks so we have got to do what we are doing for another 6 weeks. We may visit the hospital a few times and I may have some long NST but it is going to be worth it in the end when we can bring this little boy home to our crazy house.

ITS A BOY

It is probably about time that I post. It has been a cazy couple of weeks. We found out last week that we are having A BOY!!!! I am thinking to myself how the heck am I going to handle two of AJ. Everybody keeps saying this baby will be an ANGEL I hope so. Janey was a little sad at first but now she thinks that it is going to be great.

Tuesday I had to go in for a cervial cerglage. It is a procedure that they stich my cerix so that it will be strong enough to hold the baby. It has taken me almost a week to get back on my feet. But I have to do it or we would be in the same situation that we were with the twins (not something I want to ever do again). I am trying to be somewhat prepared for bed rest which is going to be tricky with AJ. I am thinking I have about 8 weeks until they decide to do that so I have a while to get stuff done. For now it is a waiting game so I enjoy ever day out of bed and doing stuff on my own.

I figured since I have still got 500 pictures on my camera and cant get them off then I would go through the pictures that I have.

when AJ was in the nicu he had an IV and the medicine leaked into his tissue and caused a really bad burn. It was so sad at the time it happened he couldn't cry. It took a lot of medicine and some pretty expensive stuff to get it were it is today.

Janey and Madison!!!!! They had so much fun when Madi lived her they spent every spare second together. WE SURE DO MISS THEM.

AJ and Jaydee!!! They are 3 months apart. This was when Jaydee was only about 1 month old. It is a crazy house at my moms when we are all together. My sisters and I all had babies with in 9 months of each other so that makes 4 babies that were all under 9 months old now they are all reaching their terrible 2.

MY BABY IS 2

I cant believe were the time goes. AJ turned 2 yesterday. He had a hard start to life but he sure makes up for it know. He is so busy and always on the go. We had cake and ice cream for him on Sunday at my moms. It was a lot of fun but he did not understand what was going on and just enjoyed all of his presents. Jeremy has been gone all weekend and is now in Chicago so he did not get to enjoy all of the fun. AJ we love you!!!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS IN A NUT SHELL

So we had a great Christmas and new years. We were able to spend about one and a half weeks with our families it was great. Jer ended up having to go to New York for work about a week before Christmas and ended up getting stranded because of weather. It was a really long couple of days wondering when he as going to make it home. The kids had a great Christmas and SANTA treated them well. As for pictures I am still missing the cord to my camera. So when I can figure something out I do have some good pictures.

Ugly Sweater WHAT!!!

I have some pretty good pictures that are waiting to be posted but I have a problem. I cant find my cord to move them from my camera to my computer. We have had a very busy couple of weeks. We took Janey to Salt Lake for her b-day. We took her to eat breakfast with Santa, took her shopping (she spent her money at build a bear) then we had plans to take her Ice skating at the Gallivan center but it was so packed with people we opted out of that and went on a carriage ride after we went to Temple square. She loved everything mainly because it was all about her all day.

I can't believe it. It seems just like yesterday that I was laying there praying that I was not going to have a baby 10 weeks early. But Janey had other plans. She weighed a whole whopping 3lbs 10 oz. She was a very strong little girl and has been like that her whole life. We are very blessed and lucky to have her. We love You Janey more than the whole wide world and hope that you had a great BIRTHDAY.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I cant believe that it has been 9 years, until I look back and realize what has gone on in our life. When we got married my dad warned Jer that he would be marrying into the circus. Apparently he was up for it. Knowing what he knows now maybe he would have thought long and hard about it. I cant imagine my life without him . He is amazing in so many ways. Our kids would prefer him around (he is much funner than I am). I hope that the next 9 years are as great as the first. I love you to the moon and back.

Hey its better late than never. Jer celebrated his big 35Th on Saturday the 1st (hello that seems so old). It was a busy day for him and not to relaxing. It started with a soccer game and ended with dinner with a bunch of our friends. He is an amazing husband and dad. I don't know of anyone that works as hard as he does. We love him so much and wish that he was around more but hey what do you do.

MY BUSY LITTLE BOY!!!!!!

AJ has been busier than ever. I am having a hard time keeping track of him. I found him in the cupboard sitting on the printer
He has been climbing on my book shelf. When I get after him about it he just lays down and acts so innocent.

I have been making homemade bread and apparently he wanted a piece. He pulled it off the counter and started eating big chunks off. This is AJ loving the camera. I love him and his energy. He said Janey last week and it made me cry.

I was getting out my Halloween decorations and I wanted to add something fun to them so I printed off all of these pictures and framed them. I can not believe how fast Janey has grown up.

Holy Cow Janey was only 10 months old talk about a chunk. This was her first Halloween. I cant believe how time flies. Before we know it AJ is going to be 6.

Halloween 2003 Aunt Olivia bought her this little outfit and it was perfect for her to be a china doll.

2004 Jer was traveling for work so Janey and I went to Grandma and Grandpas for Halloween .

2005 Janey was a witch. Matt and Misty lived here and we had a lot of fun on Halloween that year .

Halloween 2006 Jer thought that he was so funny being a blind referee. Of course Janey was a beautiful fairy.

Last Halloween 2007 with Grandma Deb Janey was a BYU cheerleader and AJ was a pirate. Jeremy was gone to China so hopefully he Will be around for this Halloween.

Since we got home from NYC AJ has been sleeping in his big bed (how sad). He decided that he could climb out of his crib. The problem was he was not doing it to gracefully. It made me really nervous that he would fall out on his head (which he did once). He has done pretty good at night but is having a little struggle with his naps. Last night he went to bed at 9:30 and did not get out of his bed until 6 so not bad. I have not taken his crib down yet. I am going to give it another couple of days and make sure that he is going to do OK. So far so good.

I am still trying to catch up on everything since we got home. We had so much fun and thank goodness we did not take AJ I am afraid it would have been a nightmare. Thank goodness for Jers parents and my parents for keeping him. I still have some fun pictures that I need to post.

AT YANKEE STADIUM

WoW it was hot. Our seats were in the right field bleachers. We did not really pack for weather like we had. It was so miserable. I honestly can say I have never been so hot in my life.

It was pretty amazing at the field. We saw A Rod hit a grand slam and Jetter hit a 2 run home run . The atmosphere was awesome. Jer can now say that he has been to Yankee stadium. I would love to go back but it will be a night game.

We had a taxi pick us up and take us to our motel. Janey was really excited about that. Little did I know that I would fear for my life as this crazy driver was taking us to our motel. They like picking up and taking people to the airport. It is a flat rate and they make pretty good money when they do it that way. They are not afraid to cut people off and they are constantly honking at people to get out of the way. I was very glad when I could see the motel.

Our trip to New York started early on the 13Th. We left at 5:30 am and arrived in NYC at 11:00 pm. This picture was taken after we had landed at JFK, I cant believe that we were all still smiling. I will never forget spending my 31st B-day in 4 different airports.

Jer, Janey and I are heading to New York on Saturday. We are going to the Yankees game and to the Lion King on Broadway. Unfortunately we did not think that AJ was ready for a 6 hour plane ride a 3 hour baseball game and another 3 hours at the Lion King. I am a little nervous to be so far away from him. He will be in good hands staying with Jer's mom and dad for a couple of days and my parents for a couple of days. I am more worried about them trying to keep up with this kid. He is very busy. We are so lucky to have parents so close and willing to help when we need them.

The Big Game

We had our first Soccer game on Saturday and to say the least it was a lot to nothing and the lot was not for our team. Jer was really geared up thinking that he was going to have the BEST team in the league fundamentally not so much but as for the girls we do have the BEST team they are all so fun. Janey woke up and was so excited about the game. Things got a whole lot better for her. While they were warming up she got a surprise. My Dad and Mom showed up with TyAnna, Chloee, and Madi. We had no idea that they were coming!!! Janey was so excited to see all of them. Thanks for coming down it was awesome. Jer, Janey and I are going to New York next weekend so she will miss her soccer game and pictures. She is pretty bummed about it but we will just have to take some on our own. She just wants to make sure that I can put a border of soccer balls around the picture like aunt Mickell does. I will try.

Today is my dads Birthday. As I stop to think about him I don't even know were to start he is a incredible dad and grandpa. He has always been there for all of his family always dropping everything and making sure that he is were he needs to be at that moment. Well another week has gone. It was a little crazy. Jer had meetings for the college, Lessons, Soccer practice oh ya and work so he was not around a whole lot thank goodness for a long weekend.

Janey had half days all week because of SEPS so It was fun having her around. We was able to meet with her teacher and Janey is doing great she has no concerns which is always a relief. Janey has made a lot of new friends already and she is always having friends call her to play. She has not had a problem with giving out my cell phone #. We tried tumbling again and it did not work out like I thought that it would so we are going to put her in Gymnastics two days a week so she will be busy. She had her first soccer practices and they were great. Jer thinks that he is going to have the best team. Janey is really excited for her first game.

AJ is doing great with out his binki. He is into everything as always. He has been watching Janey do her back walkovers so now he thinks that he can do a front roll it is more of a side roll but he thinks that he is big.

As for me I am just trying to keep up with Jer, Janey, AJ, the house and making sure that they are eating. If there is nothing to eat we can always go to IN n Out one of our favorites. We had a fun weekend My dad and mom came down on Sunday and stayed. They went home on Monday with 35 cases of pop and left two sad kids behind. We were able to see Jers mom and dad Vick, Jeff, Annie, and Capri and a whole lot of other people, So those two sad kids were not sad for long We loved seeing them. Well I am trying to gear up for another busy week.

So here it goes I am not one to do this but I figured it is a good way to keep track of things that are going on in our lives. Jeremy is the professional and should be doing it but with his schedule it is impossible to squeeze this in to it. He starts baseball tomorrow and taking on the task of being Janeys soccer coach. He went to a coaches clinic on Saturday and he was there from 9:30 until 12:30. When he got home to say the least he was a little overwhelmed. He will do great and he has to remember that they are only 6.

We took on the challenge of taking AJ's binki away. We tried a day of only giving it to him when he would go down for a nap, that was not working so we decided to go cold turkey and he has done pretty good. It is a little heart breaking to think that he is growing up and that he does not need it. I am crossing my fingers that he will start to talk now that he does not have a binki in his mouth every second. He is the funnest little boy and I am so excited to see what is next for him.

Janey is loving school and is a very good student. Last week we signed her up for tumbling. It is at the same gymn that she takes gymnastics and the coach is the same so we did not expect what was in store for us next. when we got there the class was really big and she was the youngest and the oldest was probably in 10th grade so she was scared to death and would not let go of me. When we finally got her to go try she did awesome she was able to do what the older girls were doing, but I think that we are going to try and get her into a smaller class. As for soccer it starts this week and she is so excited for it. Her dad is the coach and she knows all of the girls but 2 and to top it off her jersey is PINK. She thinks that she is the luckiest girl. She is keeping us buisy.
